Curtis Goldwire - Soldier Boy

Soldier Boy on his horse

A lil about me I was born and raised right here in Sacramento. Growing up I was consider to be a little “wild, ” but I always consider my self to be misunderstood. I joined the navy shortly after high school. I have been in the navy for the last 8 ½ years and I’m still currently serving on active duty.

I would say my love for motorcycles began when I was still in elementary. I can remember the exact moment. I was 8 years old and my dad big Curtis took me on my first ride on a dirt bike and I was hooked. I was genetic since my dad and my uncles all raced motocross. It was a matter of time before I moved up to street and super sport bikes. Now I ride a grown mans bikes a Harley Davidson Street Glide.

As far MC clubs go I never really wanted to join, I always thought they were just another for me to find a way to get in to trouble, but there was something different about the Buffalo Soldiers.  After fellowshipping with the club and learning all the positive aspects about the Buffalo Soldiers it was no question on my joining. With me being an African American serving in the military it is an honor to be able to share and represent the proud history of the 9th and 10th Calvary. It was those very same men soldiers who mad it possible for people like me in the military.
