Carl Goldwire aka One G
Okay from what I’m told I have to do a Bio on myself. Let’s just say I really don’t like giving up info on myself, however, this time I have to give
up something. Let’s start here. I
was born and raised here in Sacramento, California.
Moving on, about now you’re
probably wondering where the name One G came from, Well, that came from me, during my life I acquired numerous nicknames from
other individuals So I decided to name myself. “One G” the
one meaning the 1st to do something, to break a trend, the first to take action, There’s only 1 God, and
One love for my family and friends, The G, represents my last name Goldwire,
Moving on; currently I have 4 tattoos,
1 tattoo saying “I Am My Brother’s Keeper” all my brothers has that one. The 2nd tattoo is the
Japanese symbol representing honor. That tattoo is a reminder to me to honor and hold true the I Am My Brothers Keeper tattoo,
to honor and respect the training I received in the martial arts culture and to be honorable.
Now, moving on to my right arm I have a tattoo of the Georgia Bulldog, which represents my family ties in Georgia,
and I have a tattoo of a cross with red roses flowing through it. My wife and
I both have this same tattoo representing the love we have for each other and we are supplied with red roses daily from one
another. Moving on to motorcycles, I got involved with motorcycles at an early
age. My brothers and I use to race motocross and I must give props to my brother
Curtis, he was off the hook. I must admit, in the beginning I didn’t like
riding street bikes because it was boring compared to riding off road, however, now that I’m older things have changed. I love riding street bikes. Once I purchased
my Road King Classic, everyone else who owns a bike wanted me to join their motorcycle club. If you don’t know, I’m
very conservative and picky; however, Calvin, a friend of mine, talked to me about joining The Buffalo Soldiers. So to make a long story short, once he told me what his club represented and its history, which I
checked out, I was hooked. And that’s what made me want to become a member
of The Buffalo Soldiers. It will be an honor to wear the patch of a motorcycle
club which represents our cultural history and our contribution to the forming of the Wild Wild West. . . I need that Kool
Moe Dee CD right about now.
