Rolling to Gilroy

Hello,

I was born and raised in San Francisco, CA and at the age of 22, moved to Sacramento, CA.  I have one daughter, Donella who resides in DeSoto, Texas.

I enjoy bowling, golfing, tennis, fishing, and painting (art) and now my new love, riding my motorcycle.  I purchased my first motorcycle, a 2007 Harley Davison 1200 Custom Sporster in November of 2008.  Up until that point I had only been on a motorcycle one time as a passenger.  One week after my big purchase my Buffalo Soldier friends came to my rescue and taught me to ride my Harley.  Soon after, I took a 5-day motorcycle safety and riding course taught by Rider’s Edge.  This course is designed for riders with no experience which was perfect for me.  After the class I began to ride regularly, but was still intimidated by the bike, but  I didn’t let that stop me though and continued riding.  By January 2009 I’d fallen straight in LOVE with my motorcycle with the riding becoming easier for me and my level of comfort improving.  Now my love for riding consumes me and I can’t get enough of itJ.  My riding friends still say, “ We going to have to send her to rehab”.

On April 11, 2009, I became an official member of the Buffalo Soldiers Club of Sacramento and it was a day I’ll always remember.  I’m very proud to be a Buffalo Soldier and look forward to educating anyone who’s interested in the history of the Buffalo Soldiers.  I’ve had many rides and fellowshipping opportunities with my new Buffalo Soldiers family as a Prospect and look forward to many years of continued friendships, fellowships and riding.
