I was born in New Orleans,
Louisiana in the hospital (Charity) that most ‘Color Folks’ were
delivered doing my era. I grew up as an Air Force military brat traveling from place to place with my family. After years
of living on military installations, being enrolled and disenrolled from numerous elementary schools because of reassignments,
we moved back to Louisiana. I attended Assumption High School in Napoleonville, La. and excelled in sports. I was a (3) sports
letterman and was blessed to receive and attend a 4 yr. college on an athletic scholarship. While in college (University of Southwest Louisiana) I met my
‘Sugar’ (my future wife) and also a close friend that would rekindle a dream that I had set aside for years. He
owned a beat-up Honda 400 motorcycle and he gave me a taste of what it was like to ride. I am employed by the Department of
Motor Vehicles and my supervisor and friends sparked that desire again and convinced me to consider purchasing and riding
with the Soldiers. My father had forbidden me to own one in my teen years because he didn’t want his only son on a motorcycle.
He didn’t know that the neighbor’s kid had a mini bike and I was hooked. Now, I’m a grown a** man and my
‘Sugar’ allowed me to get
one! (After all, the kids are grown, and my insurance is paid up.) I possess a B.S. in Business Administration
and a PROUD member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. and The
Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club of Sacramento,
Ca. The HISTORY of these two organizations are legendary and I look forward to the camaraderie for years
to come! Geaux Kajuns!
