Hello from Professor II

I grew up as an Air Force brat (and veteran), so I have lived in several states.  However, I was primarily raised in California.  We lived in Pittsburg, CA during my early years before moving to Berkeley during my high school years.  I graduated from St. Mary’s High in Berkeley.  I received my undergraduate and graduate degree from Cal State University, Hayward.  As a business consultant I work with small and medium size companies helping them increase their profitability and improve their overall operation by providing my expertise in running a business based on my over 30 years of experience.

I have been riding motorcycles since 1970 when I first rode a Honda 175 (yes, they were street legal back in the day!!  ..lol).  I truly enjoy the camaraderie that you get from riding with Buffalo Soldiers.  I first joined the Roanoke, VA chapter in 2007.  I transferred to the Sacramento chapter in 2008.  In Roanoke they knew I was on the Virginia Tech faculty, so they named me Professor.  In Sacramento, I took the name Professor II since they already had a member named Professor.

On a personal level I like to help those people who can benefit from assistance from those more fortunate.  I joined the Soldiers because of it charitable contributions within the local community.  Having sat on several non-profit boards of directors I understand how important it is for all of us to give back to our community, whether it be a financial contribution or our expertise.  I have been very fortunate in my lifetime and I want to share what I have learned so my community, and especially the African-American community, can improve and grow.

I enjoy motorcycle riding, bowling, golf, tennis, dancing, traveling, movies and spending a lot of time with my five grandchildren.
